Once it’s ready to go for everyone, we’ll continue our previous work on Hearthfire and Dawnguard for PS3. 'On PS3 in particular, we turned our attention to Dragonborn, as we thought it was the best content to release first, and we didn’t want folks to wait longer. Here's the direct quote from Bethesda's blog: The good news, however, is that Bethesda plans to go back to Dawnguard and Hearthfire once Dragonborn 'ships' - they aren't just skipping those two expansions altogether.
What we now know is that Dragonborn is taking priority on the PS3-side of DLC development, and will be released first before anything else. And finally, we have some clue as to Bethesda's developmental plans behind the DLC, but unfortunately still no release dates. However, despite a confirmation that Dragonborn is headed to the PS3 there are still gamers out there wondering when the first two Skyrim DLC expansions, Dawnguard and Hearthfire, will make their way to Sony's console. In addition to the release of Dragonborn in its Xbox-exclusive state Bethesda also revealed that the PS3 and PC versions of the DLC should hit their respective digital marketplaces early next year.
Earlier this week Dragonborn, the third DLC offering for Bethesda's highly touted Skyrim, made its debut on the Xbox 360, bringing with it plenty of new quests and, more importantly, the ability to ride dragons.
